Hi everyone, it’s such a beautiful time of year to explore the Texas Hill Country.  There’s a newly expanded restaurant at Camp Verde near Comfort that’s fabulous. Plus, Camp Verde is a fun shopping destination too. Also, a weekend away at the gorgeous Riven Rock Ranch might be in order.  Dinners there are incredibly special.

Up in Fredericksburg, you’ll want to check out the Cotton Gin Inn – a delightful B&B with a wonderful restaurant called the Cabernet Grill featuring all Texas wines.  I just happen to have their recipe for a savory venison chili on my website at Goodtaste.tv…perfect for the cooler temperatures.
