Some of you may know that I had two cats for 18 years.  They were named CJ and Sarge and, sadly, my husband and I had to put them down last year exactly 3 months apart.  (ug, still makes me tear up!!!)  They both had cancer and, unfortunately for me, it was time.

I'm an animal person.  I have always owned a cat and/or a dog, or even a couple of each.  But it's taken me a long time to be able to open my heart to another cat.  Surprisingly, my husband, who calls himself "NOT a cat person," has been pushing us to get a cat lately.  Actually he has been pushing us to get TWO cats. 

So this weekend, we pulled the trigger and adopted two 5 month old (as of today) kittens from the same litter.  They getting more and more comfortable in the house.  They still jump at every little noise and the dog still scares them.  And they've been finding the craziest hiding places, which scares us to death because it takes us forever to find them! 

But they're girls.  Which is fine except we have no names for them!  And I really don't want to name them what my husband wants to name them!  He's talking about Chewbaca or Chaka Khan or Violet Beauregard.  They're funny, but I don't know if they fit these girls' personalities. 

So I need your help.  My husband has nixed naming them after Harry Potter or Hunger Games characters (boo).  We've thought about naming them after Ewoks.  But honestly, we're stuck.  Do you have any suggestions?
