ADELE: A Bond Sequel?

Adele may be going back for seconds at the James Bond buffet -- producers have asked her to record the theme for the next flick in the long-running series.

A source tells London's Sun, “Producers are thrilled by how well the song has been received and hope Adele’s presence on the next film will replicate that success. They want her to become as synonymous with Bond as Dame Shirley [Bassey]. ”

Bassey recorded three Bond themes over the years -- for Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker -- but Adele's Skyfall theme is the first 007 tune to win an Oscar.

 

BARBARA WALTERS: Returns to The View After Six-Week Absence

After a six-week absence, Barbara Walters returned to The View Monday.

The 83-year-old -- who had been hospitalized for chickenpox and a concussion -- said that "after a lot of scratching and rest" she is "fine and healthy." 

Barbara was hospitalized on January 19th after fainting and cutting her head at a party in Washington, DC. She had chickenpox at the time but didn’t know it. She suffered a concussion and got six stitches.
