LINDSAY LOHAN: No Deal
Lindsay Lohan's lawyer didn't make a deal with prosecutors in California yesterday.
As we reported, Mark Heller and prosecutors in Lindsay's probation case -- the one where she allegedly lied to cops about her crashed Porsche -- were scheduled to negotiate a plea deal. But after an hour on the phone, the two sides couldn't get together, because Lindsay is adamant about staying out of rehab.
The two sides plan to continue negotiating, but Lindsay's trial is scheduled to start on March 18th.

AEROSMITH: Dreaming Big
If two Democratic representatives from the Massachusetts hometowns of Steven Tyler and Joe Perry have their way, Aerosmith's "Dream On" will become the official state song. James Cantwell of Marshfield, where Tyler lives, and Josh Cutler of Duxbury, where Perry has a home, have introduced legislation just a week after another state representative introduced a bill that would have made the Modern Lovers' "Roadrunner" the state's official rock song.
Other states' representatives have gone this route before, most notably a failed attempt in New Jersey on behalf of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run."
