The Grammy Awards got back to the music this year with stripped-down performances by Kelly Clarkson and Rihanna and big wins for Fun. The New York group -- who talked about being 12-year veterans of the business and joked about not being so young -- won Best New Artist and Song of the Year for “We Are Young.” Gotye [pr: goat-YAY] snagged three awards, including Record of the Year for “Somebody That I Used to Know” and Best Alternative Album for Making Mirrors.

Jennifer Lopez took an early shot at ceremony organizers for their no-sexy-dressing order in a daring off-the-leg number, joking, “as you see, I got the memo.” Adele, however, took to the stage in a classy frock to accept Best Pop Solo Performance for her live take on “Set Fire to the Rain.”

Kelly Clarkson, who won Best Pop Vocal Album for Stronger, made a funny and charming speech, praising R & B singer Miguel and sharing her plans to knock back a few drinks later.

Openly gay hip-hop singer Frank Ocean, who tussled with Chris Brown in a recording studio last month, beat him fair and square in a head-to-head battle for Best Urban Contemporary Album, which went to Ocean's Channel Orange. 

Folk-rockers Mumford and Sons closed out the evening by taking home Album of the Year honors for their second disc, Babel.

KATE UPTON: Lands Second Straight SI Swimsuit Cover

Kate Upton has done it again. She's landed on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

She was the 2012 cover girl too. It's the first time since Tyra Banks did it in the mid-'90s that a model has gotten the honor back to back years.

After the photo was revealed Friday, Kate tweeted, "I look...cold lol." No doubt. The photo shoot took place in Antarctica. "Took us two months to thaw out," she said in another tweet.

The issue hits newsstands Tuesday, and Kate and nine other models will be appear Monday on Letterman to promote it.
