On this episode, Mike and I talk about the things our kids have been bringing up: divorce (that's his daughter) and death (that would be my twins). The holidays haven't actually been the reason they've brought them up but during this time we think a lot about family and friends. For Mike's daughter, one of her friends' parents recently went through a divorce. For my twins, we've been talking about their great grandparents, their Pop Pop, and a friend of their dad's.
Kids don't really understand the concept of either and we talk about ways to comfort kids with the situations. It's a tricky thing.
