The 4 Requirements for a Good Night's Sleep

Of course you’ve heard many things:

-You need 8 hours of sleep.

-You should go to bed before midnight because those are the important hours.

-You should always sleep on your left side (or right side or your back).

Well, you get the idea.

So the National Sleep Foundation did the research for us and found out what you need to have a true good night’s sleep:

  1. You take half an hour or less to fall asleep.
  2. You wake up no more than once per night.
  3. If you do wake up in the middle of the night, you fall back asleep within 20 minutes.
  4. You're asleep for at least 85% of the time you spend in bed.

How's that working for ya?
