Intoxication Manslaughter charges are possible after a passenger was killed in a single car accident on the city's south side early Sunday, 1200 WOAI news reports.
It happened about 3:30 this morning at South Presa and Natchez Trail.
Police tell 1200 WOAI's Morgan Montalvo that a motorist was southbound on South Presa when he lost control, hit a median, and then overcorrected.
The car skidded into a ditch. The passenger was thrown from the car and died at the scene.
Police are testing to see if the driver was drunk, and if so, felony Intoxication Manslaughter charges are possible.
